The news media seems to thrive on keeping the viewer, or reader, in a constant state of anxiety as we are taken on perpetual guilt trips. I wanted to better understand how we got here and why the rhetoric is so vitriolic. This article is from my research in looking at the topic. I hope it helps you, as it did me, to take a step back and realize that we don’t have to ride the merry-go-round.
